VEON and Jazz Meet with PTA to Discuss Digital Transformation in Pakistan

A high-level delegation from VEON Group and Jazz recently visited PTA headquarters to discuss strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating digital transformation in Pakistan.

The delegation, led by Augie K. Fabela, Founder and Chairman of the Board of VEON Group, met with Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, Chairman of PTA. The meeting was also attended by Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of VEON Group, Marine Babayan, Group Director of Corporate Affairs, Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz, and Muddassar Hussain, VP of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Jazz.

During the meeting, Chairman PTA highlighted the authority’s ongoing efforts to create a conducive environment for digital growth, ensuring seamless connectivity and supporting the ICT sector.

The VEON and Jazz delegation expressed their appreciation for PTA’s proactive approach and reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to Pakistan’s digital journey. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to further enhance digital connectivity, promote innovation, and empower the Pakistani people through technology.
