The 24th edition of ITCN Asia, Pakistan’s premier tech event, is set to take place in Lahore from April 18th to 20th. This year’s event boasts record participation, with over 800 companies showcasing their 2,000+ brands, including top international names.
“We anticipate generating leads and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth $500 million in IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) investments, acquisitions, export orders, outsourcing contracts, joint ventures, and other strategic collaborations,” said Muhammad Zohaib Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA).
The three-day event, jointly supported by the Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and other prominent organizations, aims to be a global success story. Over 75 leading international delegates are expected to attend.
Knowledge sharing is also a major focus, with 20 conferences planned, covering diverse topics like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Gaming, IT skills development, and investment opportunities. P@SHA will also host their signature Policy Jirga in collaboration with HBL.
Industry giants like Microsoft, Red Hat, Lenovo, HP, and local players like Netsol and Abacus are confirmed participants. Organizers anticipate over 45,000 trade visitors and 500 government representatives throughout the exhibition.
Khan highlighted SIFC initiatives as game-changers for attracting foreign investment, particularly commending the recent interest from Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Deemah Al Yahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), will be the event’s guest of honor. P@SHA recently secured observer status with DCO, a 15-country global alliance focused on ICT development.
