A team of Pakistani innovators is gearing up to participate in the Dublin Tech Summit, a major European tech event taking place on May 29-30, 2024. The delegation, comprised of at least eight IT exhibitors and 17 expert delegates, is organized by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) along with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Pakistan Software Houses Association (PASHA).

This initiative aims to shine a light on Pakistan’s IT potential. The “Tech Destination Pakistan” pavilion, established by the PSEB, TDAP, and PASHA, will serve as a hub for Pakistani companies to showcase their capabilities and connect with potential partners in the Irish tech market. The PSEB is actively supporting participating firms by offering subsidies to ease their involvement in this significant international event.

According to the PSEB, these international delegations are a cornerstone of their strategy to drive growth within Pakistan’s IT industry. By participating in events like the Dublin Tech Summit, Pakistani companies gain valuable exposure, attract investment, and foster networking opportunities that can lead to future business development.

The Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) is a major player in the European tech scene, known as the continent’s fastest-growing tech festival. This year, the event, held at the RDS in Dublin, aims to continue its tradition of bringing together a global community of innovators and thought leaders.

Pakistan’s participation in the Dublin Tech Summit builds on past successes. Last year, a Pakistani IT delegation led by the PSEB attracted significant attention at the event. Additionally, a collaborative effort between the Pakistan Embassy and the Pakistan-Ireland Business Conference resulted in a successful B2B tech conference focused on fostering partnerships between Pakistani and Irish IT companies.
