Tech Valley Pakistan recently hosted a dedicated session for Master Trainers and Teachers from the School Education Department, Government of Punjab, to support the rollout of Google IDs across schools. The session brought together 150 educators, giving Tech Valley an opportunity to prepare a sizable group of trainers and teachers ahead of a wider deployment of Google based digital identities across the province’s public school system. The session focused on strengthening teacher readiness, clarifying roles, and supporting the effective use of Google Workspace for learning. By working specifically with Master Trainers alongside regular teachers, the session appears designed to build a group of educators who can, in turn, train and support their colleagues once Google IDs are introduced more broadly across schools, extending the reach of the initial training beyond the 150 participants who attended directly. This trainer style approach is a common method for scaling technology adoption across a large public school network without requiring every individual teacher to attend a session led directly by Tech Valley.

Clarifying roles as part of the session suggests Tech Valley and SED are working to establish clear responsibilities for how Google IDs and Google Workspace tools will be managed and used within individual schools, an important step when rolling out a new digital system across a large number of institutions with varying levels of existing technology exposure. Preparing teachers to use Google Workspace effectively, rather than simply issuing accounts, reflects an approach that treats the rollout as a training exercise rather than a purely administrative one, recognising that a digital tool only delivers value once the people using it understand its features and how to apply them in a classroom setting.

Tech Valley described the session as part of its broader commitment to equipping educators with the skills and confidence needed to make digital learning more accessible and meaningful for students. The company framed the initiative as one example of the kind of hands on support it aims to provide alongside its work introducing Google’s tools into Pakistani classrooms, positioning teacher training as an essential companion to any technology rollout rather than an afterthought once accounts and systems are already in place. The session adds to Tech Valley’s long running collaboration with Google for Education in Pakistan, which has previously included Centers of Excellence, Gemini Corners and other training initiatives aimed at bringing Google’s education tools into schools and universities across the country. This existing relationship gives Tech Valley an established framework and experience to draw on when supporting a government led rollout of this kind, rather than approaching the Google ID deployment as a standalone project separate from its broader education technology work in Pakistan.

As the rollout of Google IDs continues across Punjab’s public school system, sessions of this kind are likely to remain a key part of preparing teachers to support students as digital tools become a more regular part of classroom instruction. With 150 educators already trained in this initial session, the effectiveness of the trainer approach will likely determine how quickly and smoothly Google Workspace adoption spreads across the wider network of schools under the School Education Department.
