Pak Telecom Mobile Limited has partnered with GNEXT, Pakistan’s leading Apple Authorized Distributor and Service Provider, to launch the latest iPhone portfolio in Pakistan, featuring the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and Duo. The partnership is framed around advancing PTML’s 5G rollout by bringing together 5G ready devices and next generation connectivity for its customers.
Chief Commercial Officer of PTML, Syed Atif Raza, and CEO of GNEXT, Shahid Khan, signed the partnership agreement in Islamabad. The collaboration brings together PTML’s extensive reach and connectivity ecosystem with GNEXT’s device distribution capabilities, creating a channel for PTML customers to access the latest iPhone models through the operator’s own platforms rather than a separate retail process.
The booking and registration process will be accessible through PTML’s digital touchpoints, including an in-app web view, social media, and the official Ufone and Telenor websites, with customers able to avail the offer at Ufone-Telenor Pakistan Joint Shops in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. As part of the offering, customers will also receive limited stock freebies such as Apple AirPods and adapters on a first come, first served basis, along with free eSIMs carrying 1TB of data for six months. The offer further includes one time front and back glass coverage for one year and two years of warranty coverage under the Shield+ programme.
The launch of the 5G enabled iPhone 18 Pro series coincides with Pakistan’s entry into the 5G era, with PTML pairing Apple’s premium devices with its 5G spectrum holdings to deliver faster connectivity. PTML holds the largest share of the global standard 3.5 GHz spectrum, complemented by a portfolio spanning low, mid and high frequency bands, which the company says enables high speed connectivity and wide coverage nationwide. Syed Atif Raza said the partnership reflects PTML’s commitment to bringing customers closer to advanced global technology by combining Apple’s devices with PTML’s 5G capability, while Shahid Khan said the collaboration brings together GNEXT’s device distribution expertise with PTML’s connectivity capabilities to make the latest iPhone more accessible to customers. Strengthened by the combined digital ecosystems and spectrum assets of Ufone and Telenor Pakistan, PTML is positioning the partnership as part of its broader push to extend connectivity into more aspects of customers’ everyday digital lives.
