HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup Connects Tech Executives And Innovators In Gilgit

For the first time, P@SHA organized an exclusive CXO Meetup in Gilgit on November 15, 2025, bringing together senior executives, industry leaders, and founders to explore collaboration, innovation, and strategic growth opportunities for Pakistan’s technology sector. The event, scheduled from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, served as a platform for meaningful networking and knowledge sharing among leaders from across the country, highlighting Gilgit as an emerging hub for tech development and entrepreneurship. HBL served as the Title Sponsor, with ITCN Asia supporting as Gold Sponsor, and Universal Service Fund – Pakistan (USF) acting as Strategic Partner. The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), in partnership with the Government of Canada, participated as Communication Partner, while Gilgit Baltistan Software Houses Association (GBSHA) supported the event as Outreach Partner.

The gathering featured a series of keynote addresses and welcome remarks aimed at fostering dialogue around the growth of Pakistan’s tech industry and the importance of regional collaboration. Nadia Iqbal, P@SHA CEC Member, delivered the Welcome Keynote, setting the tone for the evening with discussions on strategic networking and collaborative innovation. Her address emphasized the role of inclusive leadership in connecting industry executives and creating pathways for impactful initiatives. Anees Amin, Chairman of GBSHA, followed with remarks highlighting Gilgit’s evolving tech ecosystem and the region’s potential to contribute to national digital growth.

Muhammad Umair Nizam, Senior Vice Chairman of P@SHA, delivered a keynote focused on the broader development of Pakistan’s tech sector, exploring how cross-regional collaboration can accelerate innovation and sustainable progress. Dr. Sonia Saleem, P@SHA CEC Member and Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Subcommittee, addressed the importance of promoting diversity within the technology sector, highlighting initiatives that empower talent, foster inclusion, and encourage impactful innovation. Her presentation underscored the growing emphasis on creating inclusive and equitable opportunities within Pakistan’s digital economy.

Ch. Mudassar Naveed, CEO of USF Pakistan, also addressed attendees, offering insights into digital infrastructure and government-supported initiatives aimed at supporting technology-driven growth across Pakistan. The discussions centered on practical steps to enhance collaboration between private enterprises, startups, and government programs, showcasing how partnerships can accelerate professional growth and innovation. Throughout the evening, participants engaged in discussions, shared experiences, and explored strategic connections, marking the event as an important milestone for networking in the national technology community.

The HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup in Gilgit highlighted the increasing importance of regional events in strengthening Pakistan’s tech ecosystem. By bringing together leaders, founders, and executives, the gathering not only provided a forum for exchanging ideas but also underscored the value of collaboration in shaping a more connected and innovative future. Participants left with actionable insights on regional development, strategic partnerships, and the opportunities emerging in Pakistan’s technology sector, reflecting P@SHA’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment for digital growth.
