Anwar Kabir, Chief Executive Officer of Brand Spectrum, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term. Brand Spectrum is a PSEB registered, technology enabled integrated marketing company that serves clients across more than five countries, offering services that range from digital marketing and ecommerce platforms to data analytics, chatbots and generative AI content and agent development. Kabir holds an MBA from LUMS and has built a background in industry leadership through his role as President of OPEN Lahore, his engagement with the TiE network, past leadership of the LUMS SDSB Alumni Association, and years of board level involvement with Rotary International and the American Business Forum.
His manifesto for the CEC term is built around four main points. On brand building, Kabir points to Brand Spectrum’s own growth as evidence that Pakistani technology companies need coordinated, sustained effort to build credibility and demand in international markets, and he wants PASHA to help sharpen how the country’s IT sector is positioned globally so that member companies can convert that positioning into new customers. On global outreach and industry engagement, he wants to draw on the relationships he has built across the Pakistani diaspora and with business and technology leaders internationally, applying them toward alliances and market connections for PASHA that span North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, in line with the export ambitions of the industry.
The remaining two points of his platform focus on representation and institutional continuity. Kabir argues that members need an active voice rather than just a vote, and that he intends to represent member interests directly at relevant government and industry forums, working to turn challenges into resolved issues and realized opportunities rather than items that sit on an agenda without follow through. On institutional matters, he wants to help build up PASHA’s secretariat and operating backbone, describing this as the systems, continuity and institutional foundation that would outlast any single CEC term and support the platform’s growth over the longer term.
Kabir’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations.
