Daraz, the Pakistani e-commerce behemoth, recently surpassed 20 crore views on its mobile app during the first leg of the PSL 7 live streaming.

Following its huge success as the exclusive Digital Streaming Partner for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in Pakistan, Daraz partnered with the Pakistan Super League to become the official live streaming partner of PSL 7 and 8.

Given the popularity of cricket in the area, Daraz, as a pioneer in online commerce in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Myanmar, has cleverly played its card of free live streaming of cricket through its application.

The effort has therefore aided the application’s rapid growth, with millions of cricket fans signing up for Daraz in order to watch live cricket on their phones.

Furthermore, Daraz’s cutting-edge live streaming function provides a more immersive user experience, including live comments and the option to watch and purchase at the same time while engaging in unique deals.

“Cricket has always been more than a sport to South Asians; it’s a pulse that fuels up their emotions,” shared Wali Khan, Head of Sports Strategy, Marketing & Entertainment, Daraz. “We’re delighted to see our live streaming views skyrocketing to over 20 crore in the first PSL round, and hope for even more views and user engagement for the rest of the PSL7 season.”
