Pakistani entrepreneurs just got a significant leg up thanks to a recent collaboration between LMKT, the U.S. Mission to Pakistan, and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN). They wrapped up a five-day “Mastering the Business Life Cycle” masterclass at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi, an intensive program designed to equip over 40 U.S. government exchange alumni with the mindsets, skills, and strategies needed to build strong, impactful businesses.

The in-residence program offered a hands-on learning experience, covering critical aspects of business growth, operational excellence, branding, risk management, and leadership development. Participants, representing fields such as technology, social entrepreneurship, services, and manufacturing, engaged in interactive training sessions, expert panels, and collaborative workshops.

A key component of the masterclass involved exposure visits to leading innovation hubs in Karachi. Alumni toured the AshreiTech Academy at the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP) and The Hive at LuckyOne Mall, gaining insights into cutting-edge developments. The delegation also visited the Shahjehan S. Karim Incubation Center at the Institute of Business Management, further broadening their understanding of local entrepreneurial support structures.

The program culminated in a dedicated networking dinner, attended by prominent figures including Mr. Scott Urbom, Consul General of the United States in Karachi; Mr. Michael Chadwick, Public Affairs Officer; Mr. Kevin Furey, Economic Unit Chief; Mr. Faisal Jamil, MD LMKR; and Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director NIC Karachi. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for PUAN alumni to connect with executives from The American Business Council of Pakistan and C-level leaders from companies like UPS and Priceoye, fostering crucial relationships for future collaborations.

LMKT emphasized its ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening Pakistan’s innovation landscape. The organization stated its dedication to driving long-term growth and opportunity through strategic partnerships and high-impact programs, similar to the “Mastering the Business Life Cycle” masterclass.
