TECNO partnered with e-commerce platform Daraz for a one day Brand Day sale on July 14, offering discounts of up to 14 percent on select smartphones through the company’s official store on the platform. The campaign centred on the TECNO CAMON 50 series, positioned as the brand’s mid range option combining higher end camera hardware with a more accessible price point.

The CAMON 50 Pro, the lead device in the promotion, features a curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass GG7i protection, paired with a triple rear camera setup anchored by a 50 megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50 megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera. The device runs on a MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, alongside a 6,500mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging. The phone carries a listed retail price of Rs99,999 outside of promotional periods.

TECNO has positioned the CAMON 50 series around AI assisted photography features, including scene optimisation and image enhancement tools aimed at helping users produce more polished photos and videos without manual editing. The series also includes additional software features such as AI generated wallpapers and NFC based file transfer between devices.

The one day promotion was limited to TECNO’s official storefront on Daraz, with the company emphasising that purchases made through the verified store come with official warranty coverage and after sales support, distinguishing it from unauthorised resellers offering similar devices without manufacturer backed guarantees. The Brand Day format has become a recurring promotional structure used by several smartphone brands on Daraz, typically pairing a single day discount window with exclusive access to newer device models through the platform.

The sale reflects the growing role e-commerce platforms continue to play in Pakistan’s smartphone retail landscape, with brands increasingly using time limited online promotions to drive volume sales alongside their traditional retail and dealer networks across the country.
