Faysal Bank Becomes First Bank In Pakistan To Collaborate With Payoneer

Faysal Bank have announced a partnership with Payoneer to facilitate instantfund withdrawal and transfer through Payoneer account portal

 

Faysal Bank Limited has been committed to introduce digitally enabled solutions for their customers, as a way to adopt to other financial systems across the world. As a way to expand their service, the bank has recently announced their partnership with Payoneer to ensure faster and more convenient cross border payments.

Payoneer is a globally recognized digital payment platform that empowers businesses around the world to make fast, secure and convenient cross border payments. Faysal Bank recently announced the partnership with an official ceremony that was attended by senior management of both organizations. The start of this agreement will imply that the bank will now have an improved customers experience as this will facilitate instant fund withdrawal and transfer through the Payoneer account portal. This will be bolstered by the current services offered by the bank. Hence, this will attract the widely popular freelancing community of Pakistan that have long awaited the arrival of an international payment platform that can be used in Pakistan. Moreover, this will also improve the financial sector of the country by involving technology used around the world.

FBL Head Corporate and Investment Banking, Ali Waqar was noted to have said at the ceremony that: “We are delighted to join Payoneer and access the fast-growing network that connects its customers and partners. This partnership is also in line with the E-Commerce policy to facilitate freelancers and companies in receiving payments via home remittance channels”. Arif Siddiqui, Chief Digital Officer, FBL added to this by highlighting that: “This announcement represents FBL commitment to adopt the latest innovative solutions and reflects our ability to transform FBL to digital bank with world-class services and solutions”. Miguel Warren, Vice President, South East Asia and Pakistan at Payoneer, also spoke at the ceremony and stressed that: “Pakistani online outsourcing individuals and companies have immense potential. Payoneer is their business partner, extending unmatched experience and support through our partner network, superior technology and innovative services. Partnering with FBL is a milestone of investment in the local business community, bringing them real-time, secure withdrawal”.
