Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited has announced a partnership with myco.io to extend exclusive discounts on English Premier League streaming packages to its Ufone and Telenor customers across Pakistan, bringing one of the world’s most widely followed football competitions within more affordable reach of the country’s large and growing football fanbase. The offer is accessible through the My Telenor and UPTCL apps, integrating Premier League access directly into the digital platforms that PTML’s customer base already uses for account management and services.

The partnership reflects a deliberate strategic direction for PTML, which has been working to extend its value proposition beyond core connectivity into a broader digital lifestyle offering built around what its customers actively engage with. Football carries an enormous following across Pakistan, and the English Premier League in particular commands significant viewership, making premium league content one of the more commercially logical anchors for a digital lifestyle bundle aimed at a young, mobile-first population. By channeling the offer through the My Telenor and UPTCL apps, PTML also deepens the utility of its own digital platforms, giving customers an additional reason to engage with those applications beyond bill payment and data package management.

For myco.io, the partnership extends the reach of its streaming platform to tens of millions of Ufone and Telenor subscribers, a distribution advantage that a standalone streaming service would find difficult to replicate through conventional marketing and acquisition channels. The combination of PTML’s subscriber base and myco’s content licensing positions the arrangement as a mutually reinforcing commercial relationship rather than a simple promotional agreement. The discounted access model, rather than a full subsidy, also ensures that customers who take up the offer have a degree of demonstrated intent, making conversion to sustained viewership more likely than it would be under a purely free trial model.

The announcement comes as Pakistan’s digital entertainment market continues to develop, with streaming consumption rising steadily alongside improving mobile data speeds following the fifth generation spectrum auction earlier in the year. For Pakistani football fans who have historically accessed Premier League content through informal channels or expensive standalone subscriptions, a discounted offer tied to an existing mobile relationship with Ufone or Telenor represents a meaningfully more accessible entry point to official, high-quality streaming of one of the world’s most watched sports leagues.
