The National Information Technology Board (NITB) is set to revolutionize the Hajj experience for Pakistani pilgrims with the upcoming launch of the Pakistan Hajj Application. This cutting-edge mobile app, currently in its final stages of development and slated for testing, is expected to debut in January 2024.
Sources within NITB revealed to ProPakistani that the Hajj App is designed to offer a range of invaluable services to pilgrims undertaking the journey to Saudi Arabia. With real-time tracking functionalities and a robust complaint management system, the application aims to ensure a seamless and secure pilgrimage experience.
A key feature of the app is its role as a comprehensive information hub, providing timely and relevant updates to pilgrims. Beyond that, the digital feedback system embedded in the application empowers pilgrims to share independent reviews and feedback on their Hajj experience, introducing a level of transparency and accountability akin to successful models in the housing and hospitality sectors.
In tandem with the mobile application, NITB is concurrently developing a web portal to further facilitate pilgrims. The expert team dedicated to upgrading Hajj operations within the Ministry of Religious Affairs is focused on seamlessly integrating these digital solutions into the sacred pilgrimage process. The Pakistan Hajj Application is poised to transform the traditional pilgrimage landscape, offering enhanced services and empowering pilgrims with a platform to share their insights.
