PSEB has completed the 45th cohort of its Soft Skills Training Program in Peshawar, marking a significant milestone in the scale of the initiative as it continues to equip information technology professionals across Pakistan with the communication, leadership, and collaborative skills that increasingly distinguish successful technology careers from purely technical ones.
The Peshawar session brought together professionals eager to strengthen capabilities that extend beyond technical expertise, with participants engaging in hands-on activities, collaborative challenges, and structured discussions designed to build communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. The training format reflects PSEB’s consistent approach across its various cohorts nationwide, prioritising experiential learning over passive instruction so that participants leave with practical behavioural changes rather than theoretical frameworks they may struggle to apply in real workplace settings. The session’s master trainer shared insights during the cohort on why these competencies have become essential for professionals navigating Pakistan’s fast-evolving digital economy, where technical skill alone increasingly fails to differentiate candidates in a competitive global outsourcing and freelancing market.
Reaching a 45th cohort milestone underscores the scale at which PSEB has been delivering this programme since its inception, reflecting a sustained, multi-year institutional commitment to workforce development rather than a one-off training initiative. The programme is delivered under the Tech Destination Pakistan framework of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, in partnership with Liaison Corporation Private Limited, and supported in this instance by contributions from Dr. Alamzeb Aamir, Solochoicez Private Limited, Wibbow International, and Singularity Technologies. PSEB reaffirmed its commitment to developing information technology professionals who combine technical excellence with strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, positioning the soft skills programme as a core pillar of its broader strategy to make Pakistan’s technology workforce more competitive internationally.
