The Pakistan Software Export Board delegation participated in the Pakistan Tech Forum hosted at the House of Lords during London Tech Week 2026, engaging with leading United Kingdom technology stakeholders, investors, and policymakers in a setting that placed Pakistan’s digital ecosystem at the centre of a high-profile bilateral conversation about trade, investment, and technology cooperation.

The forum was hosted by Lord Qurban Hussain and Rashid Iqbal, Chief Executive of the Pakistan Britain Business Council, with the venue and the gathering of senior participants from across the United Kingdom’s technology and investment community providing a platform suited to the strategic nature of the discussions PSEB was seeking to advance. The delegation used the opportunity to position Pakistan as a competitive global destination for information technology outsourcing and a source of high-calibre technology talent, making the case directly to an audience of decision-makers who influence where British companies and investors direct their outsourcing mandates, partnership interests, and capital allocations within the global technology landscape.

The engagements across the forum focused on three interconnected objectives: advancing Pakistan’s software export competitiveness in the United Kingdom market, creating structured cross-border collaboration pathways for Pakistani information technology companies seeking to establish or deepen their presence in the British technology ecosystem, and aligning Pakistani digital innovation with international investment flows in a manner consistent with the federal government’s vision for a technology-driven national economy. For PSEB, which has been systematically expanding its international market development programme through a series of global events and bilateral engagements, the House of Lords forum represented one of the more prominent institutional platforms it has accessed during the current international outreach cycle. The board acknowledged the Pakistan Britain Business Council’s role in providing the forum and reaffirmed its commitment to building sustained international partnerships that open new commercial horizons for Pakistan’s technology innovators and software exporters on the global stage.
