Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in Pakistan on April 28, 2026, adding two new mid-range 5G smartphones to its Galaxy A lineup with meaningful upgrades across design, performance, cameras, and long-term software support. Both phones feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and a better gaming experience, and both run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, with Samsung offering six years of Android updates and security support. The six-year software commitment is one of the most consumer-friendly policies in the mid-range segment and gives both devices a meaningful longevity advantage over comparably priced competitors.

The two phones are differentiated primarily by their chipsets and build quality. The Galaxy A57 is powered by the Exynos 1680 processor built on a 4nm process, along with the Xclipse 550 GPU and an improved neural processing unit rated at 19.6 TOPS, and features a slimmer metal body measuring 6.9mm in thickness and weighing 179 grams with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It also comes with a 13 percent larger vapor chamber for better thermal management during extended use. The Galaxy A37 uses the Exynos 1480 chipset, which was previously used in the Galaxy A55. The A57 also carries artificial intelligence-based features including Best Face, Auto Trim, an improved Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription, giving it a software edge over the A37 in terms of camera intelligence and productivity tools.

For cameras, both phones share a 50-megapixel main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and improved Nightography for better low-light photography and video. On the front, both feature a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy A57 adds a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while the Galaxy A37 comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, with both models also including a 5-megapixel macro camera. Both devices are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0, which Samsung says can charge the phone from zero to 60 percent in around 30 minutes. On the colour front, the Galaxy A57 is available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, and Awesome White.

In Pakistan, the Galaxy A37 starts at Rs149,999 for the 8-gigabyte RAM and 256-gigabyte storage variant, while the Galaxy A57 is priced at Rs166,999 for the same configuration. At these price points, both devices enter a competitive segment of Pakistan’s smartphone market where consumers are increasingly demanding 5G readiness, multi-year software support, and capable cameras without crossing into flagship territory. Samsung’s combination of extended update commitments, solid hardware specifications, and established after-sales presence gives the Galaxy A37 and A57 a strong foundation, though their pricing will face scrutiny from buyers comparing them against Chinese brands offering similar or superior raw specifications at lower price points.
