The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission has extended the application deadline for its Skills of Tomorrow programme to June 21, 2026, giving prospective applicants additional time to register for free three-month training in some of Pakistan’s most in-demand digital skill areas.
The programme, delivered under the Prime Minister Youth Programme in coordination with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, offers six distinct courses entirely free of charge: Artificial Intelligence-Powered E-Commerce, Artificial Intelligence-Augmented Graphic Design and Video Editing, Artificial Intelligence-Augmented Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation, Artificial Intelligence Financial Analysis with Power Business Intelligence, Earning Money Through Freelancing, and Artificial Intelligence for Everyone. The breadth of the course catalogue reflects a deliberate effort to cover multiple entry points into the digital economy, spanning creative, analytical, marketing, and freelancing disciplines rather than concentrating exclusively on one career pathway.
Training under the programme is positioned as industry-relevant and designed to translate directly into career growth opportunities, with the courses available across multiple locations nationwide rather than being concentrated in a single city. The decision to extend the deadline reflects continued demand for the programme among prospective applicants who may have missed the original cutoff, and gives the initiative a wider window to reach candidates who could benefit from structured, no-cost exposure to skills that are increasingly central to both freelance and formal employment opportunities in Pakistan’s digital economy. Interested applicants can apply through the official registration portal before the new deadline of June 21, 2026.
