Allama Iqbal Open University, through its Centre for Lifelong Learning, has opened admissions for a new series of online skills development courses aimed at youth, students, freelancers, and entrepreneurs, launched in collaboration with iSkills and designed to provide practical, market-oriented training for those looking to improve their employment prospects or earn through online businesses.
Admissions are open for three specialised programmes: E-Commerce and Business Automation, YouTube Automation and Monetization with artificial intelligence, and Etsy Marketplace and Digital Products Business. Each course will run for three months, followed by three months of post-course support to help participants apply their skills in real business and freelancing environments. The fee for each course has been set at Rs 15,000, with a minimum qualification requirement of Matriculation, making the programmes accessible to a broad range of participants across educational backgrounds.
The training sessions will be conducted by renowned trainer Tanveer Nandla and his team, who will provide hands-on guidance and practical insights into modern digital business practices. Admissions began on June 8, 2026, with the last date to apply set for July 3, 2026, and classes for the first batch, Cohort-1, beginning on July 10, 2026. Interested candidates can apply online through the official AIOU admissions portal at cll-adm.aiou.edu.pk.
The three courses offered through this collaboration address some of the most actively sought-after digital earning skills among Pakistan’s freelancing and online business community. E-commerce and business automation skills are increasingly in demand as Pakistani entrepreneurs and small businesses look to set up and scale digital storefronts. YouTube automation and artificial intelligence-powered monetisation techniques have become a significant income stream for content entrepreneurs. The Etsy marketplace course targets the growing global demand for digital products, printables, and handcrafted goods, a category in which Pakistani sellers have found growing success. With Allama Iqbal Open University’s national reach and the practical expertise of iSkills behind the delivery, the programme has the potential to extend structured digital business training to participants in cities and towns across Pakistan that are typically underserved by premium private-sector training providers.
