The PASHA delegation at London Tech Week 2026 carried its momentum into Day 2 with a series of productive engagements, headlined by a meeting with Rashid Iqbal, Chief Executive of the Pakistan Britain Business Council, and Rizwan Anwar, Special Representative to the Prime Minister Youth Programme, centred on deepening collaboration and advancing technology and business linkages between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

The meeting brought together PASHA Central Executive Committee Member Usman Akbar and Director of Brand and Global Outreach Kheezran Khan with two figures who sit at the intersection of bilateral trade, youth enterprise, and public sector engagement, making it a particularly relevant conversation for an association seeking to expand the commercial footprint of Pakistan’s technology industry in the British market. The Pakistan Britain Business Council has been one of the more active institutional bridges between the two countries on matters of trade and investment, and its engagement with the PASHA delegation reflects a growing recognition on both sides that the technology sector represents a priority area for bilateral economic cooperation. Rizwan Anwar’s presence from the Prime Minister Youth Programme added a dimension focused on youth-led entrepreneurship and the pipeline of emerging technology talent that Pakistan is developing for both domestic and export markets.

Beyond the headline meeting, the delegation engaged in broader networking with industry stakeholders and technology professionals throughout the day, exploring partnership opportunities and building relationships with potential clients, collaborators, and intermediaries from across the global technology community gathered in London for the week. The 19 participating Pakistani companies attending London Tech Week alongside the PASHA delegation continued their own engagement activities in parallel, collectively representing the breadth of Pakistan’s software, digital services, and technology solutions sector on one of the world’s most prominent international technology platforms.
