Federal Directorate of Education Signs NUST to Introduce Coding, Robotics, and AI Curriculum for Primary School Students

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and the Ministry of Education have joined forces with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) to launch a cutting-edge curriculum in coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI) for primary school students. This innovative initiative aims to equip young minds with essential 21st-century skills, fostering technological literacy from an early age.

The agreement, signed in Islamabad, marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s education sector, emphasizing the importance of introducing technology at the primary education level. Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, praised the initiative, stressing the need to invest in education to address future challenges.

This partnership between the Ministry, FDE, and NUST sets a new standard in Pakistan’s education system, nurturing innovation and critical thinking among young learners. The project addresses the urgent need to bridge the technological gap in education, positioning Pakistan to thrive in the global knowledge economy.

The initiative focuses on integrating advanced technology education into the primary school curriculum, with a focus on coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI). By doing so, it aims to equip young students with essential skills, fostering technological literacy from an early age.

This collaboration is expected to lay the groundwork for a future-ready generation, empowering Pakistan’s youth to contribute significantly to the country’s development. By providing access to the latest technology and education, Pakistan can unlock its full potential and become a leader in the global knowledge economy.
