Yadea has added the GT70 to its electric scooter lineup in Pakistan, with the model available in single and dual battery configurations to suit different rider needs. The launch expands the company’s presence in the local electric two wheeler market, offering consumers a mid to higher range option within its existing scooter portfolio.

The GT70 is equipped with a 2,000W electric motor and carries a claimed top speed of 65 km/h. The standard version uses a 72V 50Ah LFP battery and offers a claimed range of around 110 km under WMTC testing conditions. An optional 72V 30Ah LFP battery can be added to the scooter, extending the total claimed range to around 170 km, though actual range may vary depending on factors such as riding conditions, speed, traffic and rider weight. In terms of build, the scooter comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes, 12-inch wheels and 150 mm of ground clearance, along with a digital TFT display that includes navigation support. The GT70 measures 2,080 mm in length, 715 mm in width and 1,175 mm in height, placing it within a fairly standard footprint for scooters in this category.

On pricing, the single battery version of the GT70 is available at Rs. 479,000, while the dual battery version is priced at Rs. 579,000. The additional battery pack increases the overall cost by Rs. 100,000 but raises the claimed range from around 110 km to 170 km, giving buyers a clear tradeoff between upfront cost and extended range depending on their usage requirements.

The launch of the GT70 adds to a growing number of electric scooter options becoming available in Pakistan, as manufacturers continue to expand their offerings in response to rising interest in electric mobility across the country. With fuel prices and maintenance costs remaining a consideration for many commuters, electric scooters equipped with configurable battery options, as seen with the GT70, are increasingly being positioned as practical alternatives for daily use, offering flexibility between shorter range affordability and extended range convenience depending on what buyers prioritize.
