Saylani Welfare Trust, finally found the ‘catch’ in just feeding, the poor. It feeds the brains better now!

How Big is the Ocean?

So many came, so many went. How big is this Ocean of tens?

It is the good fortune for many that this self-regenerating, starfish, or lobster – whatever is this reader’s choosing –  (that being the ICT industry, of course), has been able to retain, sustain and maintain; not only jobs, which the title of this article reads, quite plainly, but, also businesses churning out those jobs. As stated on the Saylani website “(the business of) Mobile Apps is about 8 Billion Dollars, and it is expected till 2016… to (have) increase(d) to 30 Billion Dollars.” Thus once a branch falls off, another one shoots off just from it.

App is the Merman’s Rake

In the “Global Smartphone Application Report of 2010,” a great deal of insights shared by the 100 companies who participated in the research, paved the way for streamlining a plethora of ideas and queries on the subject.  With new channels available in the market, especially with the model created by Apple, a large number of avenues are now open for businesses in helping keep their customers engaged, thus, keeping away businesses from clamping shut.

In the wake of so much unemployment, is working for the welfare of its people only achieved by providing them with amenities which will run out in the long-run anyway, because if ‘halal’ is anything done the right way, then is provision of a good/service the only way? The only right way?

Having had more than 10 years of experience and a passion for cloud and mobile computing technologies, also, more importantly, eight years of experience in leading a not-for-profit educational institution, having taught computer science to over 10,000 students worldwide, the Microsoft MVP, also the triple Masters degrees and professional qualifications holder, the fate of these 500 batch definitely seem bathed in Light and Rightness.

And where does this Fragrance find its Domain?

The advantages accrued from this, without a doubt, have to be multi-fold. The ‘multiplier effect’ of the Saylani training is going to lead to an environment where unskilled people will end up with skills, and therefore, jobs – that are in dire need anyway of being meted out to responsible people.

The government’s back is going to be less hardened when people get employed, money transfers are made and the government finds a way to tax those employed to keep the economy running.

The Ribs Maketh the Fish

Zardari’s tenure saw the emergence of the “Benazir Income Support Programme” which gave out the fish, but provided not the skill to catch it with. Therefore, it saw itself sinking down to the reef floor. Saylani, in the face of such distortion is a glimmer of hope. It shows once again, how this lobster can be the answer of so many of our societal problems – or did you choose the starfish – technology is after all a tool to reach an end.
