Spotify has named Pakistani singer songwriter HAVI as its RADAR Pakistan artist for the third quarter of 2026, making him the latest emerging musician from the country to join the platform’s global artist development programme. The RADAR initiative is designed to give rising artists greater visibility through editorial support and dedicated original content, and HAVI becomes the newest addition to a growing list of Pakistani musicians who have been featured under the programme since its debut in the country.
HAVI, whose real name is Abdur Rahman Sajid, has built a following through emotionally driven songwriting and storytelling, with Spotify reporting that his audience on the platform has grown by more than 335 percent over the past year. This growth reflects rising popularity for the artist both within Pakistan and among overseas listeners, positioning him as one of the more notable emerging voices in the country’s current music scene.
Several of HAVI’s songs, including “Andaz E Karam,” “Na Milay,” and “Farz,” have played a central role in his rise on the platform, with Spotify noting that streams of his music increased by more than 200 percent over the same period. His tracks have also been added to more than 200,000 user generated playlists, an indicator of growing organic listener engagement beyond algorithmic promotion. Beyond Pakistan, Spotify said his music has found audiences in countries including Bangladesh, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates, pointing to a listener base that extends well past the South Asian diaspora.
As part of the RADAR Pakistan programme, Spotify will produce a mini documentary exploring HAVI’s musical journey, creative influences, and songwriting process, continuing a format the platform has used previously to spotlight past RADAR artists in the country. The recognition adds to a broader pattern of Spotify’s continued investment in Pakistan’s music ecosystem since its official launch in the market, as the platform continues building out dedicated programming aimed at supporting local and emerging talent alongside its wider international catalog.
