Apple Music is preparing to officially launch in Pakistan, with local users now able to subscribe and successfully complete payments for the service. The music streaming platform has begun showing Pakistan specific subscription plans, marking its long awaited availability on iOS devices in the country after having already been accessible to Android users for some time.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Apple Pay is also expected to arrive in Pakistan alongside the Apple Music rollout, although this has not been officially confirmed by the company. Successful payment evidence has so far been observed for PayPak cards, with other card types likely to be added over time. Apple Music is currently offering two monthly subscription plans in Pakistan, an individual plan priced at Rs. 379 per month and a family plan priced at Rs. 649 per month, both of which include a one month free trial before the subscription automatically renews.

The rollout has been observed during Apple’s ongoing iOS 27 beta testing cycle, with payments now processing successfully for users based in Pakistan, confirming that the subscription system is fully operational rather than simply being visible without functioning. Apple has added PayPak support directly into the beta code, suggesting that a wider public launch is close at hand. Apple Music’s iOS 27 update is also expected to bring a number of additional features, including a redesigned AutoMix experience, landscape support, and updated artist pages, alongside the core rollout for Pakistani users.

Apple has not yet issued a separate public announcement specifically confirming Apple Music’s availability in Pakistan, but the functioning subscription and payment flow indicate that the service is now accessible to users in the country. iOS users in Pakistan can currently check the Music app directly and subscribe using the newly available local pricing plans, ahead of what is expected to be a broader, formally announced rollout of both Apple Music and Apple Pay in the country.
