PASHA member Ambsan Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with META Smart Factory to deliver Industry 5.0 smart manufacturing and digital transformation solutions to manufacturers across Pakistan, marking a notable step toward bringing advanced industrial technology within reach of local factory operators.

Through the partnership, Ambsan Technologies will support Pakistani manufacturers in implementing a suite of industrial digital tools covering Manufacturing Execution System integration, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, Internet of Things device connectivity, Artificial Intelligence-powered visual inspection, smart maintenance management, production monitoring, downtime tracking, warehouse management, and real-time operational dashboards. Taken together, these capabilities are designed to give factory operators a live, data-driven view of their production floors, enabling faster decision-making, reduced equipment downtime, and measurable improvements in operational efficiency. The solutions are aligned with Industry 5.0 standards, which go beyond the automation-first approach of Industry 4.0 by placing greater emphasis on human-machine collaboration and sustainable, resilient production practices.

The announcement was made as part of PASHA’s Milestone Monday initiative, which regularly highlights achievements by member companies of the Pakistan Information Technology Industry Association. PASHA noted that the partnership is expected to make modern industrial technology more accessible and cost-effective for Pakistani manufacturers who have historically faced barriers in adopting global-standard production systems. By localising the delivery of META Smart Factory’s platform through Ambsan Technologies, the collaboration aims to reduce the gap between Pakistan’s manufacturing sector and internationally competitive industrial operations, supporting the broader national agenda of industrial digitalisation promoted under the Tech Destination Pakistan initiative by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
