A new nationwide initiative titled AI Seekho has been introduced to bring together Pakistan’s emerging builders, creators and innovators, offering them an opportunity to learn, experiment and develop solutions using artificial intelligence. The programme is being launched through a collaboration between Telenor Pakistan, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Google Developer Groups Live Pakistan and Innovista, reflecting a growing push to build technical capacity and foster innovation across the country’s digital ecosystem. Positioned as a movement rather than a single event, AI Seekho aims to create a structured pathway for individuals to move from learning foundational concepts to building practical applications using modern artificial intelligence tools.

The initiative is designed to provide participants with access to the latest artificial intelligence technologies, including tools developed by Google, enabling them to translate ideas into real world solutions. Organisers say the programme will focus on hands-on learning experiences, guiding participants through different stages of the innovation cycle, from acquiring knowledge to developing functional prototypes. This approach reflects a broader trend in Pakistan’s technology landscape, where emphasis is increasingly being placed on practical skills and product development rather than purely theoretical learning. By equipping participants with relevant tools and guidance, the initiative seeks to encourage experimentation and problem solving across a range of domains. Interested participants can learn more and register through goo.gle/aiseekho2026, while signups for the kick off event are available at https://lnkd.in/d69GtNXe.

AI Seekho also introduces a competitive element aimed at motivating participants to actively engage with the programme. Individuals and teams will have the opportunity to showcase their projects and compete for rewards, including prizes worth up to PKR 2.5 million, along with exclusive merchandise. The structure of the programme is intended to create a sense of progression, where participants begin with learning, advance to building and ultimately compete based on the strength and impact of their ideas. This format aligns with global trends in innovation programmes, where competitions are used to accelerate learning outcomes and bring visibility to emerging talent.

The launch of AI Seekho highlights the increasing importance of artificial intelligence in shaping Pakistan’s future workforce and innovation capacity. By bringing together telecom operators, government bodies and developer communities, the initiative represents a collaborative effort to strengthen digital skills and expand access to emerging technologies. As interest in artificial intelligence continues to grow across industries, programmes like AI Seekho are expected to play a role in enabling individuals to participate more actively in the digital economy, while also contributing to the development of locally relevant solutions that address real world challenges.
