Mari Energies Limited and xLoop Digital celebrated the graduation of Cohort I of the Mari Digital Skills, Training and Employment Program at a ceremony held at xLoop Digital’s Karachi office. The five month program trained 44 young people from rural areas of Pakistan, including five female participants, in Artificial Intelligence and Agentic Development, as well as Full Stack Development, combining structured learning with hands-on, project based experience designed to prepare graduates for real employment.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, xLoop Digital CEO and Founder Mir Nasir highlighted the importance of programs that directly address the gap between academia and industry, noting that initiatives of this kind create a genuine opportunity for female participants to establish careers and work remotely, opening pathways to employment that were previously out of reach for many young women in rural communities. He described the program as a chance for graduates to build a career on their own terms, without having to leave their homes or communities to do it.

The ceremony was also attended by Mari Energies Managing Director Faheem Haider, Director HSE Naseem Qamar, and xLoop Chairman Danish Iqbal, each of whom addressed the graduating cohort. Haider encouraged students to take advantage of online opportunities and platforms that can help them build capability, while offering to sponsor further university level education for any graduates who wished to pursue it. Qamar described the program’s key objective as creating a pathway from learning to employment and sustainable livelihoods, crediting the partnership with xLoop for connecting the training with practical employment opportunities.

All 44 graduates of Cohort I have been placed into internships and employment, with top performers awarded shields and laptops in recognition of their achievement, while xLoop recognized participants who maintained 100 percent attendance through a lucky draw, gifting three electric bikes. The Mari Digital Skills, Training and Employment Program is part of the company’s broader commitment to education, youth development, diversity, inclusion and employability, with Cohort II of the program scheduled to begin in September 2026.
