The House of Habib has officially announced the launch of the 4th Ali Suleman Habib Engineering Excellence Awards, a national initiative that honors innovation, creativity, and excellence among young engineers in Pakistan. Named after the late industrialist and visionary Ali Suleman Habib, the awards aim to encourage emerging talent in engineering fields and provide them with a platform to transform their ideas into practical, impactful solutions. The event seeks to nurture a culture of technical innovation and problem-solving among Pakistan’s future engineers while celebrating academic and professional excellence.

The competition invites participation from 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate engineering students, 1st and 2nd-year postgraduate students, and early-career engineers with up to three years of post-graduation experience. Applicants must be under 28 years of age and can represent a wide range of disciplines including Chemical, Civil, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Environmental, Biomedical, Materials, Metallurgical, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Energy, Automotive, Architecture, and Telecommunication engineering, among others. This inclusive approach reflects the interdisciplinary nature of modern engineering challenges and provides an opportunity for aspiring engineers from various domains to showcase their ingenuity.

The Ali Suleman Habib Engineering Excellence Awards were established to highlight the role of engineering in shaping Pakistan’s industrial and technological progress. Through this initiative, the House of Habib continues its commitment to supporting education and innovation as key drivers of national development. The awards not only recognize technical achievements but also emphasize ethical responsibility, sustainability, and the ability to create solutions that address real-world issues. Participants are encouraged to propose projects that demonstrate originality, social impact, and potential scalability. Winners will receive a grand prize of PKR 1 million, offering both recognition and financial support to further their research or entrepreneurial ventures.

Interested candidates can register through the official website www.hohexcellenceawards.com, while any queries regarding the competition can be directed to ashee.award@hoh.net. The competition serves as a valuable platform for students and professionals to gain exposure, connect with industry leaders, and gain recognition for their innovative work. By fostering engagement between academia, industry, and young engineers, the House of Habib continues to play a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s engineering ecosystem and inspiring the next generation to contribute meaningfully to technological advancement and national progress.
