Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has launched its live streaming platform, the PCB Live App, which allows cricket fans to watch live matches and stay updated on cricket action. The app aims to make cricket more accessible by letting fans follow matches at any time and from any place. PCB said the initiative is designed to keep fans connected with the game and to provide easy access to live cricket coverage. The launch gives the board its own platform for delivering matches to viewers, and it comes just before a home international series, which means that fans can begin using the service almost immediately after it has been introduced.

The PCB Live App is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, which covers the two main mobile platforms used by fans. Those who prefer not to install an app can also access the service through the PCB Live website. By offering the same platform through mobile applications and through a website, the board has made it possible for viewers to watch on different devices, and it has widened the number of people who can reach the content without needing a specific phone or a separate download.

In addition to live matches, the platform offers match highlights, player interviews, analysis, exclusive cricket content, domestic cricket coverage and archived footage. This means that the service is not limited to the matches of the national team on the day of play, since fans can also look back at earlier cricket through the archive and follow the domestic game, which often receives less coverage. The mix of interviews, analysis and exclusive material gives viewers reasons to open the app between matches, and it shows that the board intends the platform to serve as a regular destination for cricket content throughout the season.

The platform will stream all three matches of the upcoming Pakistan versus Sri Lanka T20 International (T20I) series, which is scheduled for October 9, 11 and 13 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. All of the matches will begin at 6 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time, so fans who wish to watch on the PCB Live App can plan to join at that time on each of the three dates. The series therefore serves as the first set of matches that viewers can follow on the new service, and it gives PCB an early opportunity to show how the platform performs when a large audience is watching live cricket from Pakistan.
