Mobilink Bank and Vision-Building Future (VBF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of addressing financial disparities and promoting financial inclusion. Mobilink Bank, through its flagship program Women Inspirational Network (WIN), focuses on extending its financial reach and providing digital and financial solutions to underprivileged groups. As part of their commitment to improving financial inclusion, Mobilink Bank will offer the Bint-e-Hawwa product suite to VBF recipients, promoting women’s empowerment and facilitating their path to financial independence.

Mobilink Bank is a part of the VEON company, a multinational digital operator that offers connectivity and online services in multiple countries. VEON’s digital operator strategy aims to enhance digital inclusion, reshape lives, and promote economic growth, particularly in nations with a significant population.

Vision-Building Future (VBF) is a youth-led organization that works to overcome gender inequality gaps in the educational system and empowers young people. VBF has made significant progress by equipping around 8000 educators and focusing on education, professional enrichment, gender and social inclusion, and youth empowerment.

Through collaborative efforts, Mobilink Bank and VBF organize initiatives to enhance financial literacy and access to finance for low-income individuals in underserved communities, aiming to bring about positive societal change. Mobilink Bank’s Chief Information Officer, Faisal Mahmood, expressed the bank’s commitment to maximizing the potential of marginalized communities through their partnership with VBF. He highlighted their focus on boosting financial inclusion, empowering women through specialized solutions like Bint-e-Hawwa, and supporting clients in establishing successful enterprises through capacity-building seminars and events.

The president of VBF, Syeda Urooj Haider, emphasized their mission to tap into the untapped talent in Pakistan, providing essential tools and resources for individuals to realize their full potential. They aim to increase support for educators, professionals, children, and the transgender community, offering economic independence and comprehensive skills necessary for success in various fields.

Mobilink Bank aims to simplify the onboarding process for unbanked individuals through its digital network and provide access to specialized financial products. By reducing barriers to entry, the bank strives to establish an inclusive financial ecosystem.
