MSI has unveiled the MEG Vision X2 AI Plus at Computex 2026, a new flagship gaming desktop that takes an unusual approach to artificial intelligence integration by embedding a dedicated cylindrical display directly into the chassis to house a local artificial intelligence companion called LuckyClaw. The system is part of the MEG series and follows the MEG Vision X AI 2nd, which already used a front-mounted artificial intelligence touchscreen for system controls and monitoring. The main new addition is a feature called AI Holostage, a cylindrical display built directly into the chassis designed to show digital companions, desktop pets, and custom third-party artificial intelligence avatars.

The Holostage serves as a physical home for LuckyClaw, an artificial intelligence companion that runs entirely locally on the machine. Using natural voice or text commands, users can ask LuckyClaw to adjust the system’s performance profiles, change monitor settings, or swap out RGB lighting colours. For those not interested in using the default mascot, the software also supports custom third-party avatars. Some popular gaming desktop brands including Asus, Razer, and Lenovo have tested virtual assistants in their software ecosystems, but MSI is the first to give the companion a dedicated physical display embedded in the chassis itself. The decision to make the artificial intelligence companion a visible, hardware-level presence rather than just another software widget represents a deliberate design philosophy: turning the assistant into part of the physical personality of the machine rather than an optional utility buried in a settings menu.

Instead of opening software menus to adjust RGB lighting, change performance modes, or tweak system behaviour, users can ask LuckyClaw to handle those tasks directly. For people who do not want to navigate through utilities and control panels, that could make common adjustments considerably easier and faster. LuckyClaw is not just a voice or software window but a visible form inside the AI Holostage, almost like a desktop pet or digital companion that lives inside the case. The AI Holostage creates a physical artificial intelligence presence that is always accessible, converting digital companions or desktop pets into a tangible form that users can interact with in real time.

The MEG Vision X2 AI Plus is not only another gaming tower with powerful components and RGB lighting but an attempt by MSI to add personality and interactivity to a category that has largely competed on raw hardware specifications. Whether LuckyClaw ultimately feels like a genuinely useful addition or a novelty will depend on how well the voice recognition and system control integration performs in real-world use conditions. Pricing and full hardware specifications for the MEG Vision X2 AI Plus have not been officially announced at this stage, with MSI expected to share further details during the Computex 2026 showcase period.
