In a significant step aligned with Pakistan’s digital transformation agenda, the President of Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peshawar has announced the organization of a Capacity Building Workshop titled AI for Small and Women Led Businesses. The initiative is positioned under the broader vision of Digital Pakistan 2047 and reflects the growing emphasis on equipping local enterprises with emerging technology tools. The workshop is scheduled to take place on 14th February 2026 at Mohsin Hall, SCCI, bringing together women entrepreneurs, SME owners, and startup founders from across the region.

The workshop aims to provide practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence and its real world applications in business environments. With increasing digitization across sectors, small and women led businesses are seeking ways to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and access new markets. The session will focus on helping participants understand how AI tools can support decision making, customer engagement, automation of routine tasks, and data driven strategies for growth. By introducing accessible AI frameworks, the initiative seeks to bridge the knowledge gap that often limits technology adoption among smaller enterprises.

This effort is aligned with national digital transformation priorities and is supported by Tech Destination Pakistan and Ministry of IT & Telecom as part of the ongoing momentum generated during Indus AI Week 2026. The workshop also brings together collaboration from Ain Consulting (Pvt.) Ltd and Connected Women Pakistan, reflecting a coordinated approach between public and private sector stakeholders to enhance women’s participation in the digital economy. By situating the initiative within the Digital Pakistan 2047 framework, the organizers aim to ensure that regional business communities are included in long term technology capacity building plans.

Women entrepreneurs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have consistently demonstrated resilience and innovation, yet many operate with limited exposure to advanced digital tools. Through this focused capacity building workshop, WCCIPD seeks to create a structured learning environment where participants can explore AI driven solutions tailored to their business scale and industry needs. The initiative highlights the importance of inclusive digital growth and reinforces the idea that technology adoption is not limited to large enterprises but is equally relevant for small and medium sized businesses.
