PSEB, operating under the Tech Destination Pakistan initiative of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, has announced a fresh round of hiring across two major programs: the National Semiconductor Human Resource Development Program and IT Park Karachi. The vacancies span senior leadership, technical, and administrative roles, with an application deadline of April 16, 2026. Candidates can apply through njp.gov.pk or techdestination.com/careers.

For the National Semiconductor HRD Program, three senior positions are being advertised. The Project Director role, graded at PPS-11, requires a minimum of 16 years of education in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognised institution, along with at least five years of public sector project management experience. The Director Curriculum and Monitoring and Evaluation position at PPS-10 calls for 16 years of education in Engineering, Computer Science, ICT, Management Sciences, Economics, or Public Administration, with candidates holding an MS, MPhil, or PhD in Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline considered particularly competitive. The role additionally requires a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification professional experience, including at least five years in a leadership or managerial capacity overseeing training programs or workforce development initiatives. The Director Training and Placements position, also at PPS-10, carries identical educational and experience requirements, with additional preference given to candidates holding international certifications in Workforce Development, Technical Education, Career Services Management, or Project Management. The maximum age for all three National Semiconductor HRD Program roles is 55 years.

For IT Park Karachi, PSEB is recruiting across six roles covering engineering, planning, ICT systems, audit, accounts, and administration. The Project Manager and Senior Engineer position at PPS-10 requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience, with a Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred, and carries a maximum age of 50 years. The Senior Manager Planning at the same grade requires a 16-year degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, or Management, again with 12 years of experience and PMP certification preferred. The ICT and MIS Specialist at PPS-10 calls for a 16-year degree in Electronics Engineering, MIT, MIS, or Computer Science with 12 years of relevant experience, while the Manager Audit at PPS-09 requires a chartered accountancy qualification or membership of a recognized professional accountancy body, along with 10 years of relevant experience. Rounding out the Karachi-based openings are the Accounts Officer at PPS-08, requiring a finance or accounting degree with five years of relevant experience, and the Project Assistant and Record Keeper at PPS-06, which requires 14 years of education with a minimum of three years in office management, audit, accounts, or project management. The maximum age for all IT Park Karachi positions is 45 to 50 years depending on the role.
