PSEB (Pakistan Software Export Board) has issued an open call to information technology training providers, institutes, and universities across Pakistan to participate in the Prime Minister’s SkillTech Pakistan initiative by delivering high-impact training programmes that bridge the gap between industry and academia. The initiative reflects the government’s broader push to drive a technology-led transformation of Pakistan’s workforce, with PSEB positioning the programme as a national effort to elevate leadership, empower the next generation of IT professionals, and strengthen the country’s technology export capabilities.

The training components being sought span a wide range of capacity-building domains, including Leadership and Business/Project Management Training, Industry-Academia Bridge Programmes, Master Trainer Courses, Bootcamps and Short Courses, and Business Process Outsourcing, Legal Process Outsourcing, and Knowledge Process Outsourcing Capacity Building Initiatives. The breadth of the training categories reflects PSEB’s intent to address skills gaps at multiple levels of the IT workforce pipeline, from entry-level professionals entering the sector through bootcamps to industry trainers who can then scale impact by developing other trainers in a multiplier model.

Interested training providers, institutions, and universities are required to submit their proposals electronically through the EPADS portal, with the deadline for applications set at 3:00 pm on April 7, 2026. PSEB has emphasised that submissions will only be accepted through the electronic portal and not through any other channel. The initiative presents a significant opportunity for Pakistan’s academic and training ecosystem to play a direct role in shaping the country’s technology talent pipeline at a national scale, with selected organisations becoming key partners in one of the government’s most ambitious digital skills programmes under the Tech Destination Pakistan agenda.
