AshreiTech Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Sindh to deliver technical training to 800 youth across the province under the Digital Skills Training Program. The agreement was formalised through a contract signing ceremony bringing together representatives of the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund, AshreiTech, and Sapphire Consulting Services.

Implemented in collaboration with Sapphire Consulting Services, the initiative is designed to equip participants with market relevant digital and soft skills, aiming to bridge the gap between education and industry through structured training and partner networks. The programme reflects a broader push by AshreiTech Academy, which has previously run merit based digital training initiatives across Sindh covering high demand technical fields such as SAP, Salesforce, and cybersecurity, alongside shorter courses in areas including Odoo and social media marketing.

The Digital Skills Training Program builds on a fully funded training initiative backed by the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund in collaboration with Sapphire and AshreiTech Academy, which has previously opened applications for aspiring professionals across the province in fields including artificial intelligence with Python and mobile and web application development. The programme is structured to give participants hands-on experience in high growth technical disciplines while connecting graduates with employment pathways through the partner network established under the initiative.

The agreement was highlighted by the Pakistan IT Industry Association as part of its ongoing effort to showcase member achievements across the country’s technology sector. Pakistan IT Industry Association has continued to spotlight partnerships and milestones achieved by its member organisations, framing such initiatives as reflections of the private sector’s role in supporting Sindh’s broader digital economy and workforce development goals.

The initiative adds to a broader landscape of skills development programmes currently active across Sindh, including the government-run Sindh Skills Development Program and the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and Development Board, both of which offer free technical and vocational training to unemployed youth across the province. With AshreiTech’s Digital Skills Training Program specifically targeting 800 participants, the initiative represents a more concentrated, industry partnered approach to workforce development, complementing the larger scale government led skills programmes already operating across Sindh’s technology and vocational training landscape.
