Muhammad Ayan Abdullah, a Pakistani student, has been selected to represent the country at the upcoming International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), set to take place in Beijing, China from August 2 to 9, 2025. His selection marks a significant achievement for Pakistan’s emerging tech talent, as the competition brings together some of the brightest young minds from around the world to demonstrate their abilities in artificial intelligence.

In support of this milestone, Viper Technology has stepped forward with full backing to ensure Ayan’s participation is not only possible but also fully equipped. Known as one of Pakistan’s leading IT hardware manufacturers, Viper Technology has partnered with Punjab Information Technology Board to provide the young participant with its flagship PLUTO AI PC — a high-performance computer specifically designed to support AI and machine learning applications. Assembled in Pakistan, the PLUTO AI PC represents a major step in local hardware innovation and stands as a symbol of the nation’s commitment to fostering homegrown technological capability.

Faisal Sheikh, Co-Founder and COO of Viper Technology (Pvt) Ltd., emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that Pakistan holds immense talent and that companies must take responsibility in enabling the next generation of technology leaders. Through this contribution, Viper aims to support not only an individual’s journey but also the broader ecosystem that promotes learning, innovation, and the practical use of AI tools among students.

The PLUTO AI PC, developed and manufactured by Viper in Pakistan, is part of a wider series of locally assembled systems that address the rising demand for AI-ready hardware. This gesture of equipping Ayan with a performance-driven machine for an international competition showcases how locally made technology can meet global standards. It also aligns with Viper’s larger mission to promote ‘Made in Pakistan’ solutions that enable both academic and professional sectors.

Viper Technology, which has been operating in Pakistan for over three decades, covers a diverse portfolio including desktop and laptop assembly, AI systems, software solutions, and tech training through its Viper Academy. The group operates from its manufacturing base in Karachi and is actively expanding operations into Punjab. Through both its hardware and software ventures, Viper continues to contribute to national goals around digital independence, workforce readiness, and technological advancement.

Acknowledgment was also extended to PITB for its ongoing support in enabling young innovators. PITB’s collaboration in this initiative reflects a commitment to encouraging Pakistani products and ensuring that youth have the tools and platforms necessary to compete on international levels. Such partnerships between the public and private sectors play a key role in nurturing talent and elevating the visibility of local technology across borders.

This initiative not only highlights the promise of Pakistan’s youth in AI and emerging technologies but also underlines how domestic manufacturing, institutional backing, and educational encouragement can come together to represent the country with pride on a global platform.
