Rescue vehicles to Pakistan Life Savers Association PALS by Mobilink

Mobilink has donated rescue vehicles to (PALS). The vehicle will be used to transport lifeguards and people who encounter beach accidents. It contains two-way radio which will allow lifeguards to connect  with the control centre. Mr. Omar Manzur, Head of Corporate Communications at Mobilink mentioned that this partnership will contribute in efforts of patrolling the coast by PALS. Mobilink has provided 150 handsets to PALS, in order to help patrols maintain connectivity among themselves in times of need.

Warid has surpassed all of its previous records

Warid achieves highest recharge sales record, during month of May. Warid has achieved Rs.3,600 million recharge sales for the month of May 2014. The company credited its sales team for this success and mentioned, the reason being all their hard work and delegation.

Telenor helping Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to earn their livelihood

Karachi: Telenor has refurbished Mobile Repairing Lab at National Teaching Centre for Special Persons (NTCSP). Telenor Pakistan’s flagship corporate responsibility initiative ‘Khuddar Pakistan’ was inaugurated by Sibghut-ur-Rehman, Director General of Special Education. This step has been taken in collaboration with Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP). Muhammad Aslam Hayat, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Telenor Pakistan stated that with this initiative, we aim to bring in a positive change in their lives and this effort will allow them to lead a respectable life in society. Mobile Repairing Training will be a six month program. As of now, 12 people with disabilities will be going through it.
