Yango Ride, the ride-hailing service operated by global technology company Yango Group, has launched an official application within ChatGPT that allows users to plan routes and book rides directly from within an artificial intelligence conversation, removing the need to switch between applications when organising travel. The rollout is a global update covering more than 25 countries where Yango operates, spanning regions from the Middle East and South Asia to Africa and Latin America, with Pakistan included in the supported markets. The integration represents one of the more practical deployments of a ride-hailing service within a conversational artificial intelligence platform to date, bringing together real-time transport data and OpenAI’s natural language interface in a way that fits into the daily workflows of travellers, commuters, and business users without requiring them to exit the conversation.

With the ChatGPT integration, users can view the exact price for a selected route with no hidden fees, compare travel times across alternative routing options, check both the trip’s estimated time of arrival and the vehicle’s arrival time, and identify optimal pickup points to reduce waiting time. Once the user is ready to proceed, the fare estimate opens in the Yango app or in the web version, where the booking can be completed securely. The integration is powered by live traffic data and smart routing technology, ensuring that the estimates provided within the conversation are accurate and updated dynamically as road conditions change rather than being based on static or historical averages. The Yango Ride integration is available within the ChatGPT web interface as well as mobile applications on both Android and iOS, making it accessible across the full range of devices on which users typically interact with ChatGPT.

The launch addresses a clear shift in user expectations, with the integration allowing frequent travellers, tourists, and business users to plan their day without switching applications and bringing ride-hailing directly into an artificial intelligence conversation to provide a frictionless experience that fits naturally into daily workflows and travel routines. Yango Group plans to further expand its presence within ChatGPT and extend the integration to include its services beyond ride-hailing, such as delivery, public transport options, and food delivery, suggesting that the company views conversational artificial intelligence as a long-term channel for its full range of urban mobility and logistics services rather than a single-product experiment.
