Dolmen Gets IBS of Four Operators

Dolmen Mall Clifton in Karachi becomes the first IBS (Indoor Business Solution) in Pakistan where Warid, Mobilink,  Telenor and Ufone have joined as a sharing partner for an indoor Micro Cell site to offer rich cellular coverage with-in and throughout the mall. Warid Telecom took the lead to accomplish this project in order to provide quality coverage to the customers. This is a milestone in Pakistan’s Telecom history.

Google Fined Over Breach of Data Privacy

France fines Google over data privacy issue. France’s data protection watchdog has fined Google 150,000 euros. The privacy watchdog, known as CNIL, has also ordered Google to post the decision on its Google homepage for 48 hours within eight days of being officially notified of the ruling.

Facebook to buy Little Eye Labs

Facebook Inc is buying India-based Little Eye Labs, a startup that builds performance analysis and monitoring tools for mobile Android apps.The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but media reports suggest the price was less than $15 million. The Little Eye Labs technology will help to improve Android codebase for higher-performing apps.

BlackBerry Welcomes New CEO John Chen

BlackBerry Ltd. (BB), return its focus to keyboard-equipped phones under Chief Executive Officer John Chen.“I personally love the keyboards,” Chen said in an interview at the International Consumer Electronics Show , who is trying to rebuild the company after last year’s BlackBerry 10 touch-screen lineup fizzled with consumers. 

Twitter Co-founder Biz Stone Launches Jellyon

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone launched a new Q&A app called Jellyon. The app, available on iOS and Android, lets users crowdsource questions to their social networks. A feature also lets users take pictures and pose questions to friends and their networks.
