Since 2006, when it was originally granted the licence, Telenor Pakistan has been connecting people in AJK and GB with its cutting-edge connectivity solutions. Telenor Pakistan has established itself as a market leader over the years being the first operator to supply services in this region. The licence, which was set to expire on June 25, 2021, is being extended for another 15 years.

“In this digital age, smart connectivity has become a necessary utility, and Telenor Pakistan is determined to continue serving the people of AJK and GB through provision of Next Generation Mobile Services,” said Irfan Wahab Khan, Chief Executive Officer Telenor Pakistan. We will continue our efforts to improve smart connection by providing innovative technology and services for the people of AJK and GB, guided by our mission.”

Telenor has grown in Pakistan since its arrival in 2005, and it remains a key role in the country’s digital transformation led by ICT. The company’s services have become a sign of reliability in AJK and GB as a result of its various advancements in the region to deliver high-speed connectivity. Telenor Pakistan is dedicated to enhancing connectivity for all Pakistanis and uplifting communities by utilising mobile technology to provide opportunities for socioeconomic development.
