Tech Valley has concluded a four day intensive PECTAA Master Trainers Bootcamp aimed at advancing digital education practices across Punjab. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with School Education Department Punjab, Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority and National Radio Telecommunication Corporation, bringing together more than 100 selected educators from Lahore and Islamabad. The program focused on equipping participants with modern digital teaching tools and methodologies to support the integration of technology within classrooms. The training reflects ongoing efforts to expand digital learning infrastructure and enhance teaching capabilities within the public education system.
The bootcamp was conducted in two batches and introduced educators to platforms such as Google Workspace for Education Plus along with artificial intelligence tools including Gemini and NotebookLM. Participants were also trained on interactive educational applications designed to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. Over the course of the program, educators transitioned from initial exploration of tools to actively developing digital content, including interactive lesson plans, subject based projects and digital storybooks. This shift highlighted the growing adaptability of educators in integrating technology into teaching practices and demonstrated the practical application of digital tools in classroom environments.
A key component of the training focused on digital citizenship and online safety, ensuring that educators are prepared to guide students in responsible technology use. As digital platforms become more central to education, awareness of online safety and ethical usage remains an important aspect of teacher training. The bootcamp emphasized the importance of creating secure digital learning environments while enabling educators to incorporate technology driven approaches in their teaching methods. This combination of technical skills and awareness is expected to support more effective and responsible use of digital tools within schools.
The initiative is also expected to create a multiplier effect across the education sector, as the trained educators will return to their respective institutions to share knowledge and train additional teachers. By cascading these skills across districts, the program aims to extend its impact to a wider network of educators and students throughout Punjab. The training was supported by dedicated delivery teams operating in Lahore and Islamabad, ensuring participants received hands on guidance throughout the sessions. The program highlights continued collaboration between public sector institutions and technology partners to promote digital transformation in education and improve access to modern learning tools across the region.
