The Government of Pakistan has announced a series of government funded professional training programs aimed at providing IT graduates and professionals with access to internationally recognized certifications. The initiative is being rolled out under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication in collaboration with Pakistan Software Export Board as part of ongoing efforts to enhance technical skills and improve workforce readiness for global opportunities. The program is designed to support individuals seeking to advance their careers in the information technology sector by offering structured training aligned with international standards and industry requirements.

The training programs cover a wide range of high demand technology domains including cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, data analytics, artificial intelligence and project management. Participants will have the opportunity to pursue certifications in platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, as well as specialized credentials including Certified Ethical Hacker and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator. Additional areas of focus include data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, along with Agile methodologies and project management certifications. These programs aim to equip participants with practical knowledge and technical expertise that can be applied across various roles within the global IT industry.

According to the announcement, the training will be conducted in multiple cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta, making the initiative accessible to participants across different regions. By expanding geographic reach, the program seeks to enable a broader segment of the workforce to benefit from structured skill development opportunities. The availability of internationally recognized certifications is expected to support individuals in securing remote work opportunities and engaging with global technology markets, where demand for skilled professionals continues to grow.

The initiative reflects continued efforts by the Pakistan Software Export Board and Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication to promote capacity building within the technology sector. As the global demand for IT skills increases, training programs focused on emerging technologies are becoming an important component of workforce development strategies. Interested candidates can apply through the official registration portal at https://lnkd.in/dE4SFghp. The program highlights the role of government supported initiatives in facilitating access to advanced technical training and supporting the development of a skilled workforce capable of participating in international technology ecosystems.
