Dow Skills Development Centre has announced the launch of an eight week Generative AI Design and Freelancing training program aimed at equipping participants with practical digital skills and industry relevant knowledge. The program will be conducted at Dow University Ojha Campus and is scheduled to take place on weekends, with sessions held every Saturday and Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm. The initiative reflects growing demand for structured training programs that combine artificial intelligence tools with freelancing skills, particularly as more individuals explore online income opportunities and digital careers.

The course is designed as a project based learning program led by an industry professional with more than ten years of experience in global freelancing. Participants will be introduced to a range of visual creation tools including Canva AI, Adobe Firefly and Ideogram, alongside artificial intelligence powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. The training aims to provide hands on experience in creating digital content, developing design workflows and applying strategic copywriting techniques. By combining creative tools with artificial intelligence capabilities, the program seeks to help participants understand how to produce professional quality outputs for clients in international markets.

In addition to technical skills, the program will focus on freelancing platforms including Upwork, Fiverr and Payoneer, offering guidance on how to build profiles, secure projects and manage online work opportunities. As freelancing continues to grow as a source of income for many individuals in Pakistan, training initiatives that address both skill development and platform usage are becoming increasingly important. The course structure is intended to help participants navigate the competitive freelance marketplace while improving their ability to deliver services aligned with client expectations.

The initiative is being conducted in collaboration with Delta Brains Market Research Consultants, reflecting cooperation between training institutions and industry partners to deliver practical learning experiences. Participants who perform well during the program may also be considered for internship placements, with opportunities available for top candidates. The launch of the Generative AI Design and Freelancing program highlights continued efforts to expand access to digital skills training and support individuals seeking to engage with global freelancing platforms through structured and application focused learning.
