Women Tech Quest 2026 is set to bring together 1,000 women across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad on October 10, marking the tenth edition of the platform since its launch in 2017. What began as a single coding contest hosted within 10Pearls’ office has grown into a movement that now reaches more than 3,000 women across two continents, positioning WTQ as one of the leading platforms for women in technology in Pakistan.

For ten years, Women Tech Quest has created a dedicated space for women in technology to compete, connect, grow and gain visibility within the industry, combining coding, testing and design competition tracks with speaker sessions and mentorship led by accomplished women in leadership roles. The event has steadily expanded since its inception, growing from an initial cohort of roughly 150 participants in its early editions to attracting over 3,000 women across its ninth edition in February 2025, which was held in partnership with premier tech institutes including NUST in Islamabad and the University of Central Punjab in Lahore.

The platform’s growth has extended beyond Pakistan as well, with WTQ expanding to Costa Rica in 2024 as part of 10Pearls’ broader Women in Tech initiative across its Latin American operations. Previous editions of WTQ have drawn support from a wide network of technology community partners and sponsors, alongside media coverage across major Pakistani outlets, and the event has consistently framed itself around giving women recognition, professional exposure and career advancing opportunities within the country’s technology sector.

Registration for Women Tech Quest 2026 is open through the event’s official website, with organizers describing the tenth edition as a milestone moment for the platform’s continued mission of empowering women in technology. As WTQ approaches its tenth anniversary, 10Pearls has reiterated its long term commitment to advancing gender diversity within Pakistan’s tech industry, positioning the upcoming edition as both a celebration of the platform’s decade long impact and a continuation of its efforts to expand opportunities for women across the country’s growing technology ecosystem.
