Samsung Pakistan has announced the expansion of its Trade-In Programme, enabling consumers to exchange their existing smartphones for instant value toward the purchase of a new Galaxy device, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra positioned as the primary upgrade destination for the current campaign. The initiative directly addresses one of the most persistent barriers to smartphone upgrades in Pakistan, where consumers often hold on to older devices simply because the cost and complexity of switching feels prohibitive.

The programme accepts a wide range of devices across both Samsung and Apple ecosystems. On the Samsung side, models from the Galaxy S22 through to the Galaxy S25 Ultra are eligible for trade-in, covering four generations of Samsung’s flagship line. Apple users can also participate, with iPhones from the iPhone 13 through to the iPhone 16 Pro Max accepted as trade-in devices. Consumers receive an instant valuation for their existing handset, which is applied directly toward the cost of a new Galaxy device. As an additional incentive for those purchasing the Galaxy S26 Ultra through the Trade-In Programme, Samsung is offering a one-time free screen replacement, further improving the value proposition for buyers making the switch.

To ease concerns about losing data during the transition, Samsung is facilitating the process through its SmartSwitch application, which enables a complete transfer of data from an old Samsung phone or an iPhone to the new Galaxy device without any loss of content, contacts, or settings. The programme is available through two channels: in-person at participating retail outlets, and online through Samsung’s official eStore at samsung.com/pk, where customers can check the estimated value of their existing device through a quick online process before visiting a store. In-person trade-in is currently available across 15 retail outlets in Lahore, 5 in Islamabad, and 4 in Rawalpindi. Additionally, select Zong stores are participating in the programme, with Zong’s Mall Road Lahore outlet and the Redco Plaza Blue Area Islamabad branch both offering trade-in services alongside their regular Samsung device sales.
