National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad Campus, will host the First National Convention of Campus-Based Entrepreneurial Societies on October 6, 2026, organized in collaboration with the HEC Task Force on Business Incubation Centres. The convention is themed around connecting campus innovation with Pakistan’s entrepreneurial future, and will bring together student leaders, faculty advisors, startup founders, chief executives, incubators, accelerators, investors, policymakers and representatives of public and private universities under a single platform.
According to organizers, the convention aims to unite campus based entrepreneurial societies from across the country, promote networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing among student entrepreneurs, and strengthen academia-industry linkages for commercialized innovation. Additional objectives include connecting students with investors, incubators, accelerators and industry leaders, encouraging women’s and youth entrepreneurship nationwide, and formulating recommendations aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship education within universities. The event’s programme will feature several structured components, including plenary and panel discussions with leading entrepreneurs, chief executives and policymakers, success story sessions where young entrepreneurs share their journeys, investor and incubator connect sessions built around structured matchmaking, best practice presentations from leading entrepreneurial societies, and the adoption of the Islamabad Declaration, a proposed national policy statement on campus entrepreneurship.
Organizers said the convention is expected to produce several outcomes, including a national network of campus entrepreneurial societies, stronger inter-university collaboration on entrepreneurship promotion, new opportunities for startup partnerships and investment, closer academia-industry-policymaker interaction, a roadmap for entrepreneurship education across universities, and policy recommendations to support youth entrepreneurship more broadly. The event is being organized as part of Young Entrepreneurs Summit 2026, in collaboration with FAST NUCES and other partners involved in supporting student entrepreneurship across Pakistan.
Interested participants have until September 15, 2026 to complete registration or submit nominations for the convention, with organizers encouraging student societies, faculty advisors and other stakeholders to register through the official portal ahead of the deadline.
