P @SHA Startups & Entrepreneurship Committee recently hosted an exclusive session tailored for service-based companies and ambitious founders ready to transition into product-building and scalable startups. Held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Kickstart’s Vital Foakh Tower location on Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi, the event drew a full house of entrepreneurs, innovators, and tech leaders eager to learn how to shift from client-driven businesses to sustainable, product-led ventures.

The two-hour session was carefully crafted to address the key challenges faced by service-based entrepreneurs looking to make their mark in the world of scalable startups. Participants were guided through critical topics including the essential mindset shift required to move from client work to full product ownership, the important metrics that determine scalable success, and invaluable real-world lessons from founders who have successfully navigated this complex transition.

Throughout the event, speakers emphasized that building a product-based business demands a fundamentally different approach compared to traditional service work. Founders were encouraged to think long-term, invest in intellectual property, and focus on building repeatable and scalable revenue models rather than relying on one-off client projects. Practical frameworks were shared to help attendees identify product-market fit, measure growth using meaningful metrics, and build resilient businesses that can scale regionally and globally.

Attendees also benefited from candid discussions where experienced entrepreneurs shared firsthand accounts of the challenges, setbacks, and triumphs they encountered while making the leap from services to products. These stories resonated strongly with the audience, offering not just inspiration but tangible strategies for overcoming common obstacles such as funding gaps, team building, customer acquisition, and scaling operations.

The interactive nature of the session allowed for lively discussions and networking opportunities, creating a vibrant atmosphere where ideas were exchanged freely. Participants engaged with mentors and peers, fostering a sense of community among those at different stages of their entrepreneurial journeys but united by a common ambition: to build scalable, impactful startups.

Organized by the P@SHA Startups & Entrepreneurship Committee, the event underscored P@SHA’s commitment to empowering Pakistan’s tech entrepreneurs and nurturing the next wave of innovative product companies. The venue partnership with Kickstart Co-working Space added to the event’s dynamic environment, offering attendees a glimpse into the modern, collaborative spaces where Pakistan’s future startups are being built.

With limited seats available, the event saw strong demand and an enthusiastic turnout, reinforcing the growing appetite among Pakistani entrepreneurs to pivot from service-based models toward building high-growth, scalable startups. As participants left the session with actionable insights and renewed motivation, it was clear that initiatives like these are playing a crucial role in shaping the future of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
