Pakistan Software Export Board is hosting Cohort 2, Session 13 of its Global Advisory and Innovation Network Online Awareness and Engagement Series on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time. The session is themed around Responsible Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Governance, Artificial Intelligence for Good, and Inclusive Innovation, addressing a set of priorities that have become increasingly central to how Pakistani technology companies are evaluated by international clients, investors, and regulators. Registration is open at https://lnkd.in/daJZpsVy, and the session is exclusively available to PSEB-registered IT and IT-enabled services companies.
The masterclass will be led by Zahra Shah, Chair and Founding Member of UKAI in the United Kingdom, an award-winning artificial intelligence and frontier technology expert, investor, entrepreneur, and board advisor. Drawing on her extensive experience with leading global institutions including Accenture, HSBC, UBS, Credit Suisse, and Lloyds Banking Group, Zahra Shah brings a rare combination of technical depth, financial sector expertise, and governance experience to the session. She currently serves in advisory and leadership roles across artificial intelligence, innovation, venture capital, and non-profit sectors, making her a particularly well-positioned voice on the practical challenges of building artificial intelligence solutions that meet global standards for responsibility and compliance.
The session will cover a range of interconnected topics that are shaping how technology companies approach artificial intelligence development and deployment in international markets. Participants will gain an understanding of responsible artificial intelligence principles and inclusive innovation frameworks, explore international best practices in artificial intelligence, financial technology, and regulatory technology, and examine the emerging landscape of artificial intelligence regulations, compliance requirements, and policy trends across major markets. The session will also address how effective artificial intelligence governance can directly translate into stronger market readiness, greater investor confidence, and improved global credibility for Pakistani technology firms competing for international contracts and partnerships.
As Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled services export sector approaches the $1 billion freelancing milestone and the government pursues a broader target of $5 billion in technology exports, equipping registered companies with the governance and compliance knowledge needed to compete in regulated international markets has become a strategic imperative. The GAIN series, backed by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and PSEB, provides a structured channel for that knowledge transfer, connecting Pakistani technology leaders directly with internationally recognised practitioners who can bridge the gap between local capability and global market expectations.
