OnePlus has launched the Nord Buds 4, a more accessible addition to its audio lineup positioned below the Nord Buds 4 Pro, which made its debut in March 2026. Despite the lower price point, the new earbuds arrive with a capable feature set that includes active noise cancellation, a modern Bluetooth standard, artificial intelligence-assisted features, and a total battery life figure that competes well within its segment.

On the design and audio side, the Nord Buds 4 adopt a traditional in-ear form factor with silicone ear tips, available in two colourways — Astral Teal and Stellar Black. Each earbud weighs 4.3 grams and carries an IP55 rating, offering protection against dust ingress and water splashes. Audio is handled by 12mm dynamic drivers fitted with titanium-coated diaphragms, a choice of material intended to reduce distortion and improve clarity across the frequency range. The stems of each earbud support touch controls for managing playback, volume, and other functions without needing to reach for a connected device.

For noise management, the Nord Buds 4 support active noise cancellation of up to 52 decibels, a figure that OnePlus positions as competitive for the price tier. A transparency mode is also included, allowing ambient sound to pass through so users can remain aware of their surroundings without removing the earbuds. Call quality is handled by a six-microphone setup spread across both earbuds, which OnePlus says improves voice pickup and reduces background noise during calls. Connectivity runs on Bluetooth 6.1, with support for dual-device pairing that allows the earbuds to stay simultaneously connected to two compatible devices, as well as Google Fast Pair for quick setup on Android. The Nord Buds 4 also support an artificial intelligence assistant and an artificial intelligence translation feature, both of which require a paired smartphone to function.

Battery life is one of the stronger selling points at this price level. Each earbud houses a 62 milliampere-hour cell, while the charging case carries a 530 milliampere-hour battery. With active noise cancellation switched off, the earbuds deliver up to 13 hours of playback on a single charge, extending to a total of 54 hours when the case is factored in. With active noise cancellation enabled, those figures drop to approximately 6.5 hours on the earbuds alone and 27 hours in total with the case. The Nord Buds 4 are priced at $35, with a limited-time launch price of $32 available at release, placing them firmly in the budget segment while offering a specification sheet that punches above what that price would have typically delivered in previous years.
