Nothing has officially launched its first-ever budget smartphone, the Phone (3a) Lite, expanding its lineup beyond the premium range. Known for its minimalist design and transparent aesthetics, the brand has now entered the affordable smartphone segment under its main label, offering a feature-rich yet cost-effective device. While Nothing already markets affordable options through its CMF series, the Phone (3a) Lite marks the first time that the core Nothing brand has introduced a model within this price category. The smartphone is already available for pre-orders in Pakistan, priced at Rs. 99,900 for the 8GB/256GB variant, and internationally at 249 dollars.

Staying true to its signature design philosophy, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features the recognizable transparent rear panel with a single Glyph light for notifications. The device comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display offering a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and vivid colors. The screen supports a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, typical brightness of 800 nits, and is protected by Panda Glass. The phone integrates an optical fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole front-facing camera, maintaining a sleek, modern appearance. Available in classic Black and White color variants, it preserves the brand’s minimalist aesthetic while introducing affordability.

Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, the Phone (3a) Lite delivers a solid performance suitable for everyday use and multitasking. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, with the option to expand via a microSD card slot. The device runs on Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15, and offers users three years of major Android updates along with six years of security patches. This level of software support positions the device as a reliable long-term option in the budget smartphone segment.

On the camera front, the Phone (3a) Lite includes a triple-lens setup at the rear, featuring a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. The front hosts a 16MP selfie camera, capable of delivering clear images and smooth video calls. The phone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, allowing users to charge up to 50 percent in about 20 minutes. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging for powering accessories.

While the international version starts at 249 dollars for the 8GB/128GB variant, the Pakistani market is currently offering only the higher 8GB/256GB configuration at Rs. 99,900. The device supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G networks, ensuring broad connectivity across regions. Retailers such as PriceOye are already taking pre-orders for both color options. With its transparent design, strong display, and capable hardware, the Phone (3a) Lite represents a practical choice for users seeking Nothing’s unique design language at a relatively accessible price point.
